I have decided to start the shrink vitality program with Estelle Wallace and thought I might document my progress and give you an idea of what I would like to achieve from doing it.
So I don’t have a lot of weight to lose I have a good bmi and am a size 8 to 10 but I have put on a little weight by that I mean a few pounds. Lately our daily routine has changed with David being at home and my love of a latte i have noticed it creep on. So although it’s only a couple of pounds if I do nothing a couple of pounds will become a couple more pounds and a couple more, so I have decided to try a nip it in the bud.
We have also got into a bit of a food rut, everything is the same and dinnertime has got boring and repetitive. So more than anything I would like to get some meal inspiration. I could obviously just do this by looking up receipes online but by paying for the 6 week plan I have a meal plan and shopping list ready to go I feel I will stick to it better. I want to try foods that give you energy rather than leaving you feeling bloated and sluggish.

I signed up and it was very straightforward I got my meal plans and shopping lists and set off to Sainsburys. The first week shop was definitely more expensive than normal as I didn’t have quite a few of the store cupboard ingredients but I’m hoping that over the 6 weeks it will balance out as I will have gathered up a lot of the ingredients needed.
I think I’m going to struggle most with breakfast and bedtime as that’s when I normally have a big bowl of cornflakes (I mean a big full to the brim bowl🙈 that I really enjoy)but I’m going to give it ago. I also don’t really drink much water some days I have none some days just one glass but I always want to improve this.
So today is the first day and I have weighed myself and measured and I am already more than half way through my bottle of water, Ive had a cooked breakfast and so far so good. Through joining the program there is access to some of Estelle’s at home workouts which is great if your a busy mum like me and not always able to go to a gym or classes.
I will update you on my progress at the end of this week, if I have lost any weight or inches, if I’m feeling more energised or if I fallen completely off the band wagon altogether.
